personal details
I'm in my thirties, married to an incredible, gorgeous, brilliant woman, have an adorable young daughter, suffer occasional delusions of adequacy, and am pathologically unable to take myself seriously.
I am currently the lead vocalist and bass player in a rock band called Pickman's Models. I am hard at work (when the rest of my busy life permits) on several works of speculative fiction of varying lengths. I play a little tennis. I commute to my part-time day job on a recumbent bicycle. I also pull my daughter in a trailer behind said bicycle three days a week so I can go to the gym, lift weights, and work on my writing/blogging projects. I'd ski more often if I had the time and money. I was an avid fencer for ten years, but gave it up in 2000 to spend more time fronting and managing my first band, Cold Fusion.
